OUR VISION
In an effort to support refugee families on their journey of personal development, Beyond90 offers housing in conjunction with a Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS). This program provides incentives and support to help refugee families increase their earned income and reduce or eliminate their dependence on public assistance programs.
We collaborate and partner with local resettlement agencies, NGO’s and other nonprofits to coordinate services for refugee families. Refugee families are referred to services and educational opportunities that can lead to improved employment and earned income. Our core vision focuses on three main categories of personal development.
HEALTH AND FITNESS DEVELOPMENT
In partnership with other nonprofits, Beyond90 encourages activities that promote the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle through physical fitness and personal wellness. Beyond90's program, Project for Healing, provides wellness counseling for both individuals and families.
EDUCATION AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT
The promotion of education and career development is emphasized by encouraging refugees to embrace education and to achieve marketable employment skills as they work towards becoming fully self-sufficient. English is an essential component of career development and Beyond90 works to remove any barriers that prevent advancement in the English language. Career development is achieved in partnership with area agencies in preparation for career advancement opportunities,
SPIRITUAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Encouragement in the development of life skills is achieved by introducing positive recreational and character development activities as they embrace and celebrate who they are.
