When Angela first came to our program, her life felt overwhelming. She had already gone through four brain tumor surgeries and was still in treatment and recovery. We also worked closely with her to fix issues with her public benefits, which were approved within one month. As her finances improved, we helped her move into more affordable housing and applied for disability benefits to support her long-term stability.

 

But Angela’s needs were not only financial. The stress of serious illness and financial hardship had deeply affected her mental health. She was exhausted, afraid, and carrying more than anyone should face alone.
